Please Read: About Abbreviations

When you peruse the store departments you will notice that each item listing is preceded by an abbreviation consisting of two capital letters. These letters indicate the farm that grew or produced that particular item. Here is the key to the code:

DF=  Dean Farms /Pasture Maid Creamery   (pasture-based dairy w/ supplemental conventional grain

FF=  Fruitful Farm            (pasture-based livestock w/ no hormones, antibiotics, conventional grain to supplement) 

GG=   Glacial Gardens       ( environmentally-friendly, no pesticies, herbicides, hormones etc)

JP= JP Farm                        ( environmentally-friendly, no pesticides, herbicides, hormones, etc)

HR= Hostetler Farm              (environmentally-friendly etc ect etc)

MO= Mickley Organic Farm           ( USDA Certified Organic)

NW = Nu-Way Farm               (environmentally-friendly; no pesticides, herbicides, hormones)

MC = Macoskey Center at SRU  (environmentally-friendly; no pesticides, herbicides, hormones)

PM= Prospect Meadow Berry Farm  (environmentally-friendly: no pesticides, herbicides, hormones, etc)

RD = Riverview Dairy                (USDA Certified Organic)

RG =  Ron Gargasz Organic Farm    (USDA Certified Organic)

SW = Silver Wheel Farm, LLC         (Certified Naturally Grown)

TF =  The Teed Farm                 (environmentally-friendly; no pesticides, herbicides, hormones)

YSS =  Yoder's Sweet Shop         some  organic and natural ingredients.
