Information about the Winter/Spring Webstore

It's time to sign up for Northwest PA Growers Winter/Spring Webstore!

The farmers and producers of NWPA Grower’s Co-op look forward to providing you with local, naturally-raised produce, meats, eggs, cheese and more through the winter months.  If you don't want to commit to a CSA Share, you can join the Webstore and order a la carte according to your schedule.

Pick–up is scheduled every two weeks on Wednesdays at CSA pickup locations in Butler, Franklin, Grove City, Hermitage, Meadville, Mercer, and Slippery Rock.

Pickup dates are December 5 & 19; January 9 & 23; February 6 & 20; March 6 & 20; April 3 & 17; and May 1, 15 & 29.

The  $16.00 membership fee allows you access to the password-protected online store from November 30  through May. This store is for members only and is not open to the general public.  Prepay $300.00 and your membership fee is waived.  Webstore access is free to CSA Members.

It is important to note that fresh local greens, especially lettuce, tend to be very limited during January and February, but return to full production in late March and April. In the depths of winter during January and February, other greens are much better adapted to growing in low-light, sub-freezing conditions.  We try to have fresh greens in the Webstore, but our CSA Shares receive priority when harvests are limited.

When you join the Winter Market you are not obligated to place an order every time.  The Webstore will be open on our website from 7:00 a.m. Friday mornings until 9:00 a.m. Monday mornings (two weekends per month). Items will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If an item sells out it will be automatically removed from the webstore listing. After you place your order you will receive an order confirmation via email.

Orders must be paid for at pick-up by cash or check.  A charge of $1.50 is added to each order to cover delivery costs for those who are not members of the CSA.
